Just set the wood atop the splitting wood wedge in the center, strike the wood with your hammer or mallet and the kindling splits apart cleanly and evenly. Need even more secure splitting? Mount the Mighty Hand using the four bolt holes (0.5625 inches) and anchor it just about anywhere. When storing or carrying the Mighty Hand, use the included protective vinyl blade covering. Protect your fingers and keep the blade sharp. When the blade needs sharpening, use any standard sharpening tool, including whetstones, oil stones or blade sharpeners.
