Variac Transformer TDGC2-3D with 30 Amp Max Output and LCD Digital Display Variac Transformer TDGC2-3D is an affordable, versatile way to control AC voltage output. With a high efficiency output and no waveform distortion, this Variac autotransformer can be used for a wide array of professional and DIY applications. This model also includes an LCD Digital Display in place of the less accurate analog dial display. Variac Transformer TDGC2-3D features: Rated up to 30 Amps or 3KVA Peak (25A Continuous) Requires AC input, provides AC output (does not convert AC to DC) Does not affect cycle rate The Variac Transformer TDGC2-3D does not convert AC to DC. It requires an AC input and the output is also AC. Also, the unit will not affect the cycle rate from the power company. If your power system is providing 60Hz, the Variac auto transformer will not change that, the ouput will be an undistorted 60Hz. This unit is rated up to 30 Amps or 2KVA Peak (25A Continous).
