Hand Poured with Care: Alternative Imagination pillar candles are hand-crafted in small batches to ensure the highest quality. We are proudly working with ethical, local bee farms based in the United States of America. We use only single-source beeswax from local farms, and is filtered using a chemical-free filtration system that leaves the beeswax with its naturally sweet, honey-like aroma, and beautiful yellow coloring. This yummy smelling beeswax is then melted down at the perfect temperature, and hand poured into candles by our small team in St. Petersburg, Florida. We use wicks that do not contain any metals! They are flat, natural cotton, with a paper thread for structure. These beeswax candles burn brightly and cleanly, with little to no soot! Beeswax also help to regulate the quality if the air you breathe! It's the only natural substance that emits negative ions when burned. These negative ions draw out toxins, dust, pollen, mold, and mildew from the air. The color and aroma of the candles can naturally vary as it all depends on the flowers the bees are harvesting from. Listing size: The diameter and height of the candles may be slightly smaller than the size listed due to the natural way the wax cools while in the mold. Cooling wax pulls away from the exact mold, making each candle slightly smaller than the mold itself, which also helps to provide you with a scuff-free candle. Burning instructions: 1. Place your pillar in a non-flammable receptacle 2. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch 3. Light candle 4. Allow to burn at least 2 hours in order to prevent tunneling and ensure an even burn. 5. Hug your candle! Depending on how long you burn the pillar, you may need to "hug" the edges of the candle after you extinguish the flame. After the wax is cool but still soft, press the edges of the candle inward to create a flatter surface.
