About Boromir Vs Lurtz

Battle action features will keep the imagination alive with these two nicely rendered figures. Boromir comes with a sword, sword sheath, horn, removable cape, and shield. Sporting 12 points of articulation, this figure is easily posed and has a high level of playability. The facial sculpt is great and the paint job is clean. Ball joints in the shoulder allow for a wide range of arm movement. A lever on the back of the figure enables Boromir to swing into action. Pushing the lever continuously makes Boromir swing his sword and then raise his shield in defense. Placing the horn in his left hand and pushing the lever will make him raise his arm and turn his head, as if to blow a mighty call. Lurtz not only looks menacing, but he's got a mean, battle-action feature as well. Equipped with a bow and a quiver of arrows, his aim is true. There are four notched arrows, one that works best for display purposes and three others for launching. Pressing a button on his back makes Lurtz pull back on the bowstring and then naturally release it from his fingers. Ball joints in the shoulder mean you can bring the bow fairly close to the body and have a wide range of movement. Lurtz has nine points of articulation, with focus on the most natural pose for holding a bow. Armor, face, and paint details are fantastic, and, since he's a fairly hefty fellow, posing him is no problem. --A. Galindo
