About Callaham Vintage Telecaster

Fender’s original Tele bridge design is crude at best. It serves the purpose of positioning the strings, but allows for only coarse intonation adjustment. Callaham's bridge maintains the traditional look, while using superior materials and design that deliver a wider frequency response, increased sustain, and perfect intonation. Made from heavier .075" cold-rolled carbon steel using a five-stage bending process, then stress-relieved so that the plate sits absolutely flat. Provides maximum sustain and vibration transfer - stiffness and flatness are paramount in this design, which would not be obtained using the .050" material and stamping processes used in the original. Lowered sides further enhance the functionality - allowing for easy palm muting - and the lip is removed at the front of the treble side to allow access for finger picking. Two small screw holes on the front corners of the plate may be used at the player's discretion; screws are included with the bridge for those wanting the maximum available sustain. Callaham’s improved compensated saddles guarantee correct intonation, and use of smaller setscrews - moved right to the ends of the saddles - ensures the strings don't touch the height adjustment screws, which can be a problem on other bridges.
