About Comstar 80-100 RS-24 Refrigerant
RS-24 is the easy-to-use drop-in replacement for R12. It provides a long term solution to replacing R12 in most applications including hermetic and semi-hermetic systems, refrigerated transport, cold stores, cellar, cooling, dairy chillers, vending machines and mobile air conditioning. The properties of RS-24 make it an almost perfect match for R12 with its compatibility for traditional mineral and synthetic lubricants. It has similar performance, lower discharge temperature, is non-flammable with a relatively short atmospheric lifetime.
