This meteorite pendant is from Campo Del Cielo, Argentina. It weighs an average of 7 grams, ranging from 6.5-9 grams and measures approximately 1/2" X 3/4" inches. Adjustable waxed cotton cord measures approx. 35 inches. This necklace comes in a royal blue velvet pouch which is beautifully packaged inside a handcrafted wooden treasure chest (2.5” X 3” X 2.25”, designs vary, see photos). Authenticity certificate included. Everything is then packaged in a white remailer box.These meteorites fell over 4000 years ago! They were found in Campo del Cielo, Argentina. It is estimated that the original meteorite weighed over 50 tons before it hit the earth (there are 2,200 lbs in one ton!). The meteorites are composed mostly of iron with some nickel.
