The FitScan BC-601FS is the perfect tool for monitoring the effectiveness of any fitness or health program. Utilizing Tanita’s exclusive bioelectric impedance analysis (BIA) technology, this 8 electrode body composition monitor displays 19 readings; 9 whole body and 10 segmental (arms, legs and trunk area) so you can see exactly how your body is responding to specific training and lifestyle changes. From tracking body fat and muscle mass trends, to recommending calorie intake and indicating hydration levels this monitor helps you tailor your exercise and dietary requirements to achieve your goals. Up to 4 users can record and review their results, which are stored for 6 months. 8 BIA electrodes allow the BC-601FS to go well beyond standard body composition; giving you a segmental review of what you’re made of. Why segmental? Simply put, segmental gives you more information than standard body composition monitors. This totally unique product gives individual body composition readings for each body segment- trunk, right arm, left arm, right leg and left leg.
