An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded French Two-Panel "Double Grande" Movie Poster (2p; measures 63" x 93 3/4"; printed in 2 pieces)L' Armee des ombres (first released in the U.S. in 2006 as "Army of Shadows"), the 1969 Jean-Pierre Melville French/Italian World War II (WWII) military melodrama ("Betrayal. Loyalty. Collaboration. Resistance.") starring Lino Ventura, Paul Meurisse, Jean-Pierre Cassel, Simone Signoret ("as Mathilde"), Paul Crauchet, Claude Mann, and Christian BarbierNote that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this partially French movie! Also note this poster was used in the Netherlands and that there is a title change snipe from the Dutch distributor (Centra Film) on this poster that reads "De Schimmen", which is Dutch for "Shadows".There is a foreign language snipe glued under the original title (only blank background area is covered).
