England's Xerath return with the mega-sounding platter simply titled II. Produced by Jacob Hansen (Destruction, Heaven Shall Burn, Volbeat), the album is a piercing slice of metal. Crushing riffs, cinematic symphonic arrangements, and unrelenting drums, II is a record that will immediately capture attention. II is the first album from Xerath that will see extensive stateside promotion. Xerath was originally formed in 2007 as an experiment to combine film score composition with extreme groove-based heavy metal. To date the band have performed alongside Ihsahn, Entombed, label mates Abigail Williams, Vader, and more. The band have been a noted performer on many of Europe's largest music festivals.
