2 Burner Griddle. Heavy gauge, 3⁄16" thick steel with heat-resistant handles. Not for use on electric or induction cooktops. Steel construction. Handwash only. 10-1⁄2"Wx22-7⁄16"Dx1"H. LIFETIME WARRANTY. Use evenly over both burners to prevent warping. Thoroughly wash with dish detergent and hot water before first use. Before cooking for the first time, after the initial cleaning, lightly coat the cooking surface with cooking oil and heat the griddle/broiler until the oil smoke. Then shut off burners, allow the griddle to cool, then wipe off cooking surface - this process makes the griddle "cured" and now conditioned for use. CLEANING: Allow griddle to cool before immersing in water to prevent warping. Avoid abrasive cleaners - dishwasher safe. Towel dry immediately after rinsing and apply a light coat of cooking oil before storing to protect finish. **The griddle is shipped with a protective oil coating to preventing rusting, which may wick into the box - griddle is still in new, perfect condition**
