Durable porcelain-coated steel holder provides easier, safer transport of salt plate from cooking surface to table. Handling salt plate with holder eliminates excess pressure to any one area of the plate while protecting fragile edges, extending the salt plate's useful life. As salt plate begins to wear down, get more use of the salt as a cooking surface by using the holder as a frame to hold together the pieces of salt. Made of steel with a porcelain coating and measures 10.6 by 8.4 by 1.3 Inch with one 1.2 inch-wide cross bar. For use with Charcoal Companion Himalayan Salt Plate, 8 by 8 by 1.5 Inch -- CC6058. CARE: To preserve and extend the useful life of this tool, wash with a mild dishwashing soap, rinse and dry immediately. Do not use abrasive scrubbers. CAUTION: Metal parts get hot. Use oven mitt or glove when handling.
