We selected grapes from two distinct growing regions to create a dynamic, layered Chardonnay. The cool Carneros AVA contributed stone fruit flavors and a crisp acidity, while the grapes from the warmer St. Helena AVA rounded out the palate with ripe tropical fruit flavors. In 2014, we had a very warm and dry growing season in the Napa Valley. These conditions paved the way for a harvest that was roughly two weeks earlier than usual. Wines from this year have great depth of flavor and long aging potential.
