Border Hoops are for hand quilters to keep their fabric taut when stitching along the border of their quilt. The half hoop design allows you to stitch along a longer area than a round hoop before having to move the quilt in the hoop. These hoops are made of smooth basswood, have rounded edges and the solid wood block closure and 4 inch plated screw hold fabric taut.
