About Opto 22 SNAP-OMR6T-C Snap Isolated 4-Channel
Mechanical power relay output modules handle more current than any other snap output module and provide channel-to-channel isolation. Fusing is not provided; you must provide fusing when wiring the module. Each contact on the SNAP-OMR6T-C can carry 6 Amps. Having more than one channel on at the same time does not reduce the amount of power each channel can carry. Because channels are not polarity sensitive, each channel can switch either AC or DC power, thus potentially reducing the number of modules needed. In Solid-state snap AC output modules, possible leakage current might cause a load to stick on. In contrast, these modules dramatically reduce that possibility. Leakage current for the SNAP-OMR6T-C is less than 1 Micro amp.
