Raw Vision magazine has been publishing for over twenty years and specializes in presenting the art of visionaries, outsiders and folk artists from around the world. It is the only international journal of outsider art, art brut, folk art and allied fields. It has won many awards including the UNESCO prize for the world's best art magazine and the Medal of the Mayor of Paris for its contribution to world culture. Some of the artists presented in Raw Vision may be in prisons or institutions while others are are independent creators with few links to the commercial art world.
