You must own either a ColecoVision videogame system or ADAM computer to use this product. Firmware upgradable: Each of the four major core components of the Ultimate SD Wafer Drive design can be upgraded instantly by just placing new firmware files on the SD card and turning on the ColecoVision or ADAM!. Firmware updates will be offered for free on the ATARIMAX website. Current firmware Supports MMC, SD, and SDHC wafer cards. Both the FAT and FAT32 Filesystem is supported (full long filename support also). Current firmware supports up to 32GB SDHC wafer cards for programmers that want to create huge Supergames and programs (The actual capacity of the current hardware is to allow up to 4MB of data to be loaded at any moment. A game developer can page data in and out from the 32GB SDHC wafer cards as needed, which means a programmer can literally make one large ColecoVision/ADAM videogame that takes up the entire 32GB of space on the SDHC wafer media). Requires NO PC software: Compatible with any Device/OS that can read/write a standard FAT/FAT32 formatted SD and SDHC memory cards. Support for all currently used ColecoVision bank switching methods, including "Mega-Cart" (up to 512KB) and Lord of the Dungeon NVRAM. Supports all standard 32K or less ROM images (Many free public domain ColecoVision games can be downloaded online to a SD or SDHC wafer card and then inserted into the Ultimate SD Wafer Drive). C Programming API allows advanced users to write ColecoVision/ADAM software that can interact with the onboard CPU and SD card! Powerful on-screen menu software supports interactive SD card directory browsing, including sorting of long filenames. Menu software includes support for viewing screen shots and reading game manuals right on the ColecoVision or ADAM computer! Cartridge RESET switch means you never have to power cycle your ColecoVision/ADAM to return to the game menu.
