About Gion District Kyoto
This terrific original woodblock print on India paper is by Japanese artist, Tomikichiro Tokuriki 徳力富吉郎 (1902-2000). Featuring an evening scene of the Gion district in Kyoto, with two lovely geiko (芸子) in formal dress, this artwork is signed by the Artist on the red lamp. Image dimensions are 10-3/4" x 9-1/2". The woodblock print is mounted on a sheet with dimensions of 13-3/4" x 10-1/2". In good to very good condition, this extraordinary artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity.
