Picture-Perfect LEDs Bring Colors to Life In order to assure the very richest color, the Tru-Slim is equipped with an array of 6 low voltage LED nodes. The light from these bulbs is rated with a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of above 90, a museum-grade illumination that saturates reds, yellows, and blues into vivid fullness. This fullness is offset by a color temperature of 2700 Kelvin, a natural illumination equal to the warm glow of the sun in the early morning. This 12 inch model requires 4 C-Cell batteries to be installed in each of its two base panels, which in turn can be mounted upon either the wall as a permanent wall fixture, or directly into the casing of oneÍs painting as a frame light. Cordless battery operation allows placement of the light in virtually any environment, without relying on the fickle placement of power outlets and junction boxes.
