About Wesco 272940 Value Lift With Handle, Polyurethane

This Wesco 272940 four-wheeled hydraulic material lift with forked platform can be used for lifting and transporting heavy loads up to 880 lb. A foot-operated hydraulic pump raises the platform from its 3.5" minimum height to its 47" maximum height. The frame has a chrome-plated handle and rails and measures 22.5 x 36 x 55 inches (W x D x H) overall. The adjustable forks measure 4 x 25.5 inches (W x D) each and can be adjusted from 8.5 to 19.5" between the inside edges of each fork. (W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back; H is height, the vertical distance from bottom to top.) The lift has two fixed 3" polyurethane load wheels and two 5" polyurethane swivel casters for maneuverability. The swivel casters can be locked for stability when not transporting a load. This four-wheeled hydraulic material lift with forked platform is suitable for lifting and transporting heavy loads in industrial and commercial settings. Material lifts typically comprise a vertical metal frame and two forks that can support a pallet of goods and that can be raised or lowered to an optimal, ergonomic height for loading or unloading. The forks may be controlled with a hand crank or a foot pump, and they can sometimes be inverted to adjust the service range. Wheels allow the material lift to be rolled for moving materials. Some material lifts have special wheels on the frame that can enable it to be loaded into a delivery truck for transport. Material lifts can be used in warehouses, storerooms, shipping facilities, and other industrial environments. Wesco manufactures material handling equipment. The company, founded in 1948, is headquartered in North Wales, PA.
