A favorite of electrical experts, this hole-making kit features a new die design optimized for the widest range of materials; the drivers quickly punches precise holes in up to 10-gauge mild steel, 12-gauge stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, fiberglass, and plastics for 1/2-inch to 2-inch conduit size knockouts. Made to meet the needs of busy electricians on the jobsite, the compact build offers convenient portability and quick and easy one-person operation, and the in-line design reduces operator muscle fatigue. The punch profile splits slugs in half to make the slug removal process extremely simple and has a knurled edge to provide a secure grip. It eliminates cross-threading by efficiently drawing studs with the dog point tip, and the hex key access allows for stud easy removal from the tool. The hydraulic driver kit includes a Quick Draw knockout driver, 1/2-inch to 2-inch conduit size Slug-Buster punches, 2-1/2-inch to 2-inch conduit size dies, 7/16-inch and 3/4-inch hydraulic draw studs, and a KCC-QD2 carrying case that has markings for quick part identification. These punch drivers, when used with Greenlee punches, dies, and draw studs, form a complete system for punching holes of various shapes and sizes through mild steel, aluminum, fiberglass, and plastic. Slug-Splitter punches, dies, and studs are available for punching all of these materials as well as stainless steel. In addition, the 7704SB / 7706SB punch driver has a flexible body that allows hole punching at a variety of angles. The handle and release mechanisms rotate nearly 360 Degree for convenient actuation.
