Product Description Warm, woody, and dense, with a controlled sustain, The EC1 is a 14 mil single-ply head with the Edge Control ring mounted on the underside to eliminate unwanted mid-range frequencies and enhance attack. The extra film thickness extends durability while maintain the stick response of a single-ply. A 3mil patch on the Reverse Dot model lends additional attack and focus in the center for fat backbeats. Sound Shaping Technology (SST) rings on the underside reduce unwanted frequencies and enhances attack.
