About Art Of The Sash - Volume 1

Volume 1 of Tom Fazio's soft weapons curriculum covers all whipping and shooting techniques for close to long range soft weapons like the rope dart, chain whip, meteor hammer and sash, as well as foundational turns and tricks needed for poi and other object manipulation flow arts. The techniques in this DVD have their roots in classical Shaolin kung fu as well as some of Tom's own innovations, but all soft weapons and flow arts have similar techniques. If you're interested in classical kung fu short to long range weapons or modern flow arts - the foundations, footwork, and movement theory is covered in this DVD. The promotional trailer for "Art of the Sash" can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hY1Woo4aUYI And Tom Fazio's short sash demo "The Sash is Sexy" can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZN_jQVvhNso Tom Fazio is a published author and the founder of Weightlessness Training. He resides in Shanghai China. With over 25 years of martial arts experience, Tom has spent the last decade mastering the Art of the Sash. He has trained privately with Shaolin protector monks to learn the principles and techniques of the rope dart, meteor hammer, and chain whip, which he passes on methodically to you in Volume one of "Art of the Sash", along with many of his own modifications. In Volume 2 Tom teaches his system of locking and controlling, derived from the arts of Hapkido, Indonesian Sarong Fighting, Shaolin Kung Fu, and his own extensive practice and application with soft weapons. There is not more comprehensive soft weapons system available then Tom Fazio's "Art of the Sash".
