One-time contemporaries (and occasional rivals) of the mighty Lindisfarne, Prelude are a hugely popular Folk- Pop/Rock trio from Newcastle, who have been together since the late 60s. Their acapella arrangement of Neil Young's After The Goldrush has been a UK hit twice (1974 & 1982). This 2-CD set includes everything that they recorded for the Dawn and Pye labels between 1973-77, viz: 4 LPs and sundry singles.
