About Hitachi 115166 Finish And Combination Miter/Table

With a 10" diameter and a 5/8" arbor, the Hitachi Finish / Combination saw blade set includes one combination blade and two finish saw blades designed for use with most 10-inch miter and table saws. With a range of 40 Teeth to 80 Teeth, these Hitachi blades are ideal for cutting roughly or precise in all types of wood. With 40, 60, or 80 durable carbide teeth, these blades can make precision cuts for general finish work and can be used in framing and decking as well. 40 Tooth Combination Blade: Ideal for crosscutting and ripping of plywood, wood composites, and natural woods, the 40 Tooth Combination Blade is designed for all-around use when rips and crosscuts must be made with one saw blade. 60 Tooth and 80 Tooth Finish Blades: Ideal for making precision cuts for general finish work, the 60 Tooth and 80 Tooth Finish Blades can be used in framing and decking as well. Guide to Understanding Saw Blades and Terms: ATB / Alternate Top Bevel - Tool grind where the bevel alternates from left to right. ATB gives the cleanest crosscut in hard and soft wood or plywood. Hook - Angle of tooth relative to the blade radius determines aggressiveness of cut and work piece finish. Kerf - The width of a saw cut made in a board, the measured width of material removed by the passage of the saw blade. Carbide - Carbide alloy is composed of Cobalt and Tungsten. This alloy gives saw blades longer lasting tips, shaper cutting edges, and greater impact resistance. Grind: ATB - Alternate Top Bevel. Kerf: .106" Hook: 18Degree Carbide Grade: C2.
