The goal of Christian education is more than increased knowledge; it's a transformed life. In this introductory textbook, fourteen educators from the Wesleyan Holiness tradition focus on how that principle guides the educational and discipleship ministries of the church. They believe that Wesleyan theology requires a more transformative approach to Christian education than Roman Catholic or other Protestant systems do. With examples from the educational programs of local congregations, they show how this approach opens new doors of opportunity for parish ministry in the twenty-first century.
