About Dixon BPN64 Brass Push-On Hose
This Dixon BPN Series brass push-on hose adapter has a National Pipe Thread Fuel (NPTF) male fitting and a barbed shank for connecting to hose. This fitting has multiple barbs to create a tight seal when used with a Lok-On (push-on style) hose. No hose clamps or ferrules are needed. This push-on hose adapter is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Brass can be connected to copper, brass, plastic, aluminum, and welded steel, and the relative softness of the brass threading when compared to other metals allows for a tight seal to resist leaks. This fitting is suitable for use in hydraulic and fuel transport applications. Dixon & Coupling Company manufactures pipe and hose fittings and accessories.
