Part of Dreadbox’s affordable but powerful Chromatic Modules series, Nostalgia is a 3-stage hybrid delay module based on the Echo channel from Dreadbox’s Erebus Synth—a favorite of synthesists at GearNuts. The three delays run in series for classic multi-tap style effects, and feedback for different stages are independently controllable. Delay time ranges from 30ms, for tight slapback delays, to 1 sec for cavernous echoing, and includes a CV input. And, Nostalgia’s LFO is excellent for adding warbling modulations to the signal. On top of its module-level input, Nostalgia includes a separate input for introducing guitars, basses, and other instruments into the Eurorack environment.
