About Egyptian Scarab Oracle

Product Description The ancient Egyptians knew the power of the sacred scarab, symbol of life, hope, and regeneration. The Egyptians believed that everything vibrates with living magic; the actions of sacred birds and animals can reveal the will of the gods and goddesses; and with the right divination system, all things can be known. Learn about the art of divination in ancient Egypt and the role of the scarab in magic and literature. A vivid dream of life as a temple priestess in ancient Egypt led Mysteries of Isis author deTraci Regula to create the Egyptian Scarab Oracle. This kit contains thirty beautifully crafted scarabs and a satin drawstring pouch. Each scarab bears the likeness of a goddess, god, or symbol of ancient Egypt. The easy-to-use guidebook presents reading tips and layouts, interpretations for each scarab symbol, the Egyptian hieroglyphic alphabet, and instructions for creating your own scarabs for divination and protection. Find out whether your mate is a passionate Horus, a difficult Set, a sensitive and understanding Osiris, fiery Serqet, erotic Hathor, or strong yet loving Isis. Simple to learn and fun to use, the Egyptian Scarab Oracle will help you discover which Egyptian deities you resonate with, learn to read simple Egyptian Hieroglyphics and stimulate your intuition. You can use this oracle to gain insights about love and relationships, finances, career planning, and much more! From the Author A magical dream brought the Egyptian Scarab Oracle into being, and a collaboration between myself and the gifted artist Kerigwen has brought them into reality. These Sacred Scarabs come from the heart and we hope you enjoy them as much as we've enjoyed bringing them to you. Each of the 30 beautiful blue and gold scarabs is inscribed with a symbol from ancient Egyptian mystery lore and mythology. In addition to the scarabs, the kit includes a black satin pouch and our book, "Sacred Scarabs for Divination and Personal Power". The book includes a description of the other arts of divination and magic in ancient Egypt, a divination ritual to Isis and Khepera, and a variety of different layouts to use with the scarabs depending on the reader's own individual quest for knowledge and insight. The meanings for each scarab in different types of readings are clearly described, designed so that even a novice reader can achieve good results quickly and easily. It also shows how to make magical scarab amulets using an ancient technique with special chants and rites for each. Join with us and experience the magic of the Sacred Scarabs! About the Author A student of the sacred sciences since childhood, deTraci Regula explores the mystical through writing, dreams, and art. She has been a Priestess of Isis with the Fellowship of Isis since 1983. With David Harrington, she is the co-author of the upcoming biography of their friend Scott Cunningham, Whispers of the Moon. In addition to work in the animation industry on such secular epics as the animated version of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, she also produced and directed the video programs Herb Magic with Scott Cunningham and Witchcraft: Yesterday and Today with Raymond Buckland. She has traveled to sacred sites in Turkey, China, Japan, and Britain, as well as the United States. When not writing, deTraci Regula practices Taoist painting and exploring the family geneaology. Named for her ancestor William deTraci, deTraci Regula comes from a long line of pagans and freethinkers. One of her ancestors was chastised by the local bishop for "consorting magically with the horses," though what that means exactly has been mysteriously excised from the family histories. Another ancestor, a Protestant during the reign of the Catholic Queen, "Bloody" Mary, was dug up and burned as a heretic after his death because of certain comments he made in his last will and testament. ~
