EISCO floating ring magnet set is used for demonstrating magnetic repulsion. The set has five magnets that are placed on a rod tor observe the magnetic repelling or “floating” effect. The magnets are made of ceramic for resistance to abrasion, and have a 32.0mm external diameter. Ceramic resists corrosive gases and abrasion. It won’t melt or rust, and can withstand high temperatures, but is brittle and can break when exposed to an impact. The set has a wood base for display that measures 150.0 mm (H). (H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point.)
