The PADandCLICK ARTHRITIS gel pads have thicker and more angled finger pads than the regular Pad N'Click model, and take a bit of getting used to. They provide a better grip of the mouse i.e. curved/grasping position of the hand and fingers While it takes some time for the hand to become adjusted we found this model more effective for people who have pain in their hands. If you have a lot of pain in your hand the PADandCLICK ARTHRITIS model was found to be more helpful. If you have no serious pain in your hand the PADandCLICK REGULAR is best for you. Both models of the PADandCLICK accessory enhance a typical mouse by providing : a softer surface to click on -- an angled design that allows the fingers to bend when clicking -- a more concave area to increase the total surface of contact -- a PALM PAD to help curve the hand inward into a grasping mode.
