Creating your own designs in designing software. Make sure flip it into a mirror image 2. Once you have your design finished and flipped you are ready to cut, with or without the cutting mat. The backing of heat transfer material will be facing up. Weeding your heat transfer 3. Trim around the design if there is extra around the edges. And peel off any parts of the design that you don't want to be ironed on, or the negative space. 4. Take the weeded pieces and place them clear backing side up on the luggage cover. 5. Put your hot iron on the design, for between 15-20 seconds at cotton level. Once the design has transferred, let it cool for a few seconds and then gently peel back the clear plastic until it is completely removed. Tip: For best effect, do not pull the cover when it's still hot.
