About FTCBlock HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor Distance Module

Operatiing Principle of Ultrasonic Sensor As the name indicates, ultrasonic sensorsmeasure distance by using ultrasonic waves. The sensor head emits an ultrasonic wave and receives the wave reflected back from the target. Ultrasonic Sensors measure the distance to the target by measuring the time between the emissionand reception. The distance can be calculated with the following formula: DistanceL = 12 × T × C where L is the distance, T is the time between the emission andreception, and C is the sonic speed. (The value is multiplied by 12 because Tis the time for go-and-return distance.) Arduino Project with Ultrasonic Sensor Ultrasonic Sensor HC-SR04 is inexpensive andeasy to use since we will be using a Library specifically designed for thissensor. To use it with Arduinoyou would need an UNO R3 controller board.
