Product Description The GE Choice Alert Wireless Alarm System Gararge Door Sensor helps secure your expensive automobiles and outdoor equipment by monitoring any overhead door, sending an alert to your Choice Alert Wireless Control Center when the door has been opened. The gravity-activated sensor is powered by a long-lasting lithium battery (included), is completely wire-free, requires no electricity, and easily installs without drilling. Installing the GE Choice Alert Wireless Alarm System Gararge Door Sensor requires no wiring or drilling. Using the included double-sided tape or screws, simply mount the sensor to the inside of an overhead door near its bottom and then pair the sensor with the Wireless Control Center. The garage door sensor is powered by a lithium cell battery that will last for up to 24 months. The garage door sensor operates within 150 feet of the wireless control center, and it can be used with any of the center's four zones. Anytime your overhead door is opened, the garage door sensor will send a signal to the wireless control center, which will in turn emit an alarm, chime, or silent visual alert depending on the setting you choose.
