About Ham-Let Stainless Steel 316 Let-Lok Compression
The Ham-Let 316 stainless steel Let-Lok compression fitting is made of 316 stainless steel and connects to tubing and National Pipe Taper (NPT) connectors. This 90-degree elbow fitting, also called "ell," connects two pipes at a 90-degree angle to change the direction of flow between pipes. It connects to pipes or tubing on one end and an NPT male connector on the other. This fitting is made of 316 stainless steel for higher strength and greater corrosion resistance than 304 stainless steel. The operating temperatures range from 100 to 1000 degrees F. It meets American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards A213 and A269 for quality assurance. It is suitable for high-pressure applications in industrial settings such as petrochemical, fluid, power, and nuclear environments. Pipe and tube fittings are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries.
