Orange is the new White – Our New Activated Alumina Media is coated with iron and is orange in color. The new CFF25-10 filters better over a broader pH range! Produces cleaner, better tasting water. Removes up to 93-percent of fluoride, and up to 98-percent of chlorine, chemicals, VOCs, pesticides, herbicides, foul tastes and odors. For chloramine removal, consider model# CFF2E-10. This 5-micron multi-stage coconut shell granular activated carbon and activated alumina filter uses channel blockers to ensure uniform filtration without channeling or dumping. Packed tight – this Home Master purple filter canister is packed full of media, to provide the very best performance, the longest life, and the best value for your dollar. Settling may occur – media fines (orange, white or black) may be visible on the inlet pad due to the media settling. This will flush out during installation.
