The prism is mounted on the rear of the TV with only 1/8" of the tip showing makes it almost invisible.The latest TV monitors do not have any place on the front to attach the Old school out dated front mounting IR receivers.other competitors IR receivers are typically mounted on the front or near the monitor frame leaving it exposed ruining the aesthetics of your new flat screen. Comes standard with a 9ft 3.5mm to 3.5mm male to male detachable cable. Hundreds of thousands of the Remote Prisms have been sold in the last two years for commercial use.
