A keg coupler attaches to the keg valve and to a CO2 compressed gas line. It then allows the compressed air to enter the keg and push out the beer. In order for your beer to be served properly, it needs to have the correct type of coupler that fits the valve on the keg. The type of coupler you need will depend on where that specific beer was kegged. The European S-Type keg coupler is similar to the American D-Type keg coupler. Its only difference is that the probe on the S-Type coupler is ¼" longer than the probe on the D-Type Coupler. The European Sankey "S" System coupler will fit most European kegs such as Delirium, Heineken, and Piraat. All U.S. Solid Keg Couplers are made out of high strength stainless steel for maximum durability and sanitation. The stainless steel body and probe makes this keg coupler resistant to chemicals and ensures that it will not chip like the cheaply made chrome keg coupler. Its durable lever handle and fork makes this keg tap sturdier and more reliable than standard wing handle keg couplers. The U.S. Solid S-Type Keg Coupler will tap all of your European kegs.
