PLEASE NOTE: The Kids Travel Tray is best suited for kids Age 3 and up, but like your car seat, the fit is best determined by your child's size rather than age. If your child is small and in a convertible-type car seat that is tilted back/upward, there might not be enough room for it to fully open. Since the Organizer is approximately 11 inches from top to bottom, you need at least that much space for it to rest comfortably on your child's lap. It works best if your child's legs are parallel to the floor of the car.Five-point harness-style transitional seats and boosters work well. If you get the Backseat Organizer home and find your child isn't quite big enough yet, simply store it away or loan it to a friend until they are ~ they grow so fast!There are 4 ways to adjust for a perfect fit. 1. Tilt the front seat forward/back ~ 2. Raise or lower the front seat ~ 3. Move the front seat forward or back ~ 4. Lengthen or shorten the top strap on the Organizer. Kids will have hours of entertainment by using the sturdy desk top surface or closing the car organizer and slipping an electronic tablet into the secure pouch for hours of watching movies and shows. We made the PVC that holds your tablet extra durable and with a strong Velcro-type closure, so you can easily poke a hole wherever you need to for your specific device. Plug in a pair of headsets and your little one is all set! We beefed up the fabric so it's more durable (actually the same fabric used on adult laptop carriers, not the thin shiny stuff used in typical kid's products), fixed the issues around it fitting in front of your little one by giving you multiple adjustment options, added the ability to watch programs (even using a headset), increased the thickness of the writing board, and made sure this would last through whatever you put it through.In a car or even on a flight, buy with confidence and get more than one so nobody is left out ~ They Make Great Gifts!
