This meter can be used for veneer, hardwood and softwood, lumber, fiberboard, hardboard and many other materials. The unique battery-saver switch between the pins turns the meter on and off automatically. Comes with a charge so you can flip a switch and get the reading for exotic hardwoods as well. Great tool for anyone who works with wood. The Mini-Ligno "C" features longer pins and reads core moisture in thicker lumber when a sample cut is not feasible. The Mini-Ligno "C" also allows cable connection for the sliding hammer. The complete package includes moisture meter, connecting cable, sliding hammer, 1" electrode pins and case.
