When you hear the word hunters, what do you think of? Most people will think of your average, run-of-the-mill hunters. You know, the ones who hunt deer and stuff? Well, not my family. We hunt supernatural creatures. That’s right, mermaids, werewolves, vampires, you name it, we kill it. But, we only kill the ones that kill people. "Nous protégeons ceux qui ne peuvent se protéger." Translation: "We protect those who cannot protect themselves." It’s the family motto. Or, so I thought. Turns out, my ancestors, including my parents, are supernatural serial killers. Yup, the French phrase you just read? Not even the family motto. Apparently, it’s “We hunt those who hunt us.” Translation: We hunt and kill innocent supernaturals, including the defenseless ones. And get this: my parents want me to join the “family business.” Not gonna happen. I need a plan to get out of this. Fast. How to do it? Easy. Date a supernatural creature. That’s when Darcy comes into the picture. Darcy is a demon trying to get out of his father’s wishes. In order for him to do that, he has to date a hunter.
