The MXL 770x is a large diaphragm microphone that is extremely versatile and is optimized for recording vocals, instruments, and all your recording needs.Designed for flexiblity the MXL 770x features three switch-selectable polar patterns: cardioid, figure eight, and omni-directional. The cardioid polar design is effective in minimizing noise and off-axis audio that can cause feedback and with the ability to handle high SPLs of up to 130/140dB it can be placed near transient signal sources such as drums and guitar cabinets with minimal distortion and noise. With an upgraded large diaphragm gold-sputtered capsule the MXL 770x captures the details and nuances of vocals and instuments. Included with the 770X Multipattern Condenser Microphone is a shock mount with integrated pop-filter, a balanced XLR cable, and a microfiber cleaning cloth.
