The water pump bearings are press-fitted with three tons of pressure for a smooth rotation. The water pump's hub is precision-manufactured to help prevent water from leaking while the motor is running. The fan vane on this water pump is manufactured to minimize cavitation, which is the formation of vapor cavities that can cause pitting.
