PREPARATION: Add an infuser bag into 2¼ (18 fl. oz) cups of water, and boil for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and let infuser bag sit in the pot for 12 hours at room temperature. Discard infuser bag, place the tea in a clean container with a lid. Keep the tea in the refrigerator no longer than one week. DIRECTIONS: Mildly warm up the tea and drink 2-3 fl. oz daily on an empty stomach; preferably before your night sleep. PRECAUTIONS: Effect of the Essiac tea on pregnancy and lactation is unknown. Do not use this product if you are pregnant or nursing. This product contains rhubarb root. Do not use if you have or develop diarrhea, loose stools or abdominal pain because rhubarb root may worsen these conditions, also individuals with a history of kidney stones should use this herb cautiously. Consult with your healthcare practitioner if you have a medical condition or taking any prescription medication before start using this product.
