About Pentair Pentek C2 Carbon Water
The Pentek C2 Carbon-Impregnated Cellulose Filter Cartridge is designed to reduce chlorine, taste and odor in residential drinking water. The carbon impregnated paper technology provides high flow rate with low pressure drop in a compact size for applications that have installations size constraints. This cartridge must be only installed on chlorinated water supplies. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.Designed for most residential drinking water applications. Pentair water filters are manufactured in the form of replaceable cartridges that fit inside housings designed to perform as a filtration system. Filtration systems can consist of a single stage or multiple stages, using one, two or more types of filter cartridges to reduce multiple contaminants. The performance of filter cartridge is measured by the minimum particle size that is blocked and the type of unwanted contaminants it is designed to reduce. Additional performance factors include the maximum flow rate, and the capacity or amount of water that can be filtered before the filter must be replaced. Water cartridge filters are used in a wide range of drinking water applications including Point of Entry (whole home) installations and Point of Use (undersink applications).
