If you use Power Putty for an extended amount of time and/or use it rigorously, Power Putty recommends you wash and dry your hands often while using Power Putty. Therefore, the oils on your hands should not modify the color pigment as much causing it to rub off onto your hands. One way to prolong the life of the putty is to thoroughly wash and dry your hands before each use. Do not expose Power Putty to extreme temperatures for an extended amount of time. Store the Power Putty in the container you received with it when you purchased our product. This will help to protect the putty from outside stimuli while the Power Putty is not being used. As you use Power Putty for extended amounts of time, it may become a little softer.
