Ice Melt Pellets Generate a Powerful Exothermic Heat to Quickly Melt Snow and Ice. Fast & Furious Deicer: i. Safe on Concrete Sidewalks, Asphalt Driveways, Wood & More ii. Faster & More Effective Than Rock Salt vi. Works in Temperatures As Low As -25°F (-32°C) Suggested Use: Plow or shovel snow prior to spreading Ice Melt. Spread evenly using a cup, scoop, or spreader. Use ¼ to ½ cup per square yard. Remove melted slush. Storage: Store in a sealed container in a dry location. *We seal our buckets in the most secure way possible to keep the contents in and any contaminants out. A bucket opener for a food storage or paint bucket may be needed to open these buckets. Bucket openers can be purchased from online retailers such as Amazon or from your local hardware or home improvement store. Warning: Ice Melt is safe for use around pets, but prolonged exposure to skin can cause irritation and the brine from the melting process can dry out a pet's foot pads.
