About Sancho & Lola's 10oz Beef Tendons For Dogs - Made
USA Sourced & Made Beef Tendons Tendons are tough bands of fibrous connective tissue that usually connects muscle to bone and is capable of withstanding tension. It's essentially cartilage, which means its super high in collagen which is excellent for joint mobility. Unless your dog has a sensitive stomach, it's a good idea to rotate your dog treats and chews. Dogs get bored just like we do. Sancho and Lola seem to get more excited with chews when we alternate them. Our Elk Tendons have spotty availability since the the processing of elk is seasonal. We do run out of stock frequently on them. Our beef tendons provide the same chewing satisfaction as our elk tendons, perhaps a little 'stringier'. This is normal. These muscle fibers are fully digestible. (Sancho has a sensitive stomach and does fine eating them.) The fibers have 'dental floss action' and help clean tarter build-up on your pups teeth! Our Plain tendons are odorless and non-greasy-- which makes them great for furniture and carpets-- but may not be as great if your dog is finicky. If your pup has a preference for chews that have a smell, go with our 'Smoked' Black Angus beef tendons. These are smoked with mesquite and hickory woods chips which gives them a lot of flavor!
