This Sandusky Lee BQ10351342-09 Snapit bookcase is made of steel for strength, has two adjustable shelves, one fixed bottom shelf, and a black powder coat finish for resistance to chipping and corrosion. It is suitable for organizing and storing books and other items. The adjustable shelves adjust in 2" increments to accommodate books and other items of varying heights. The fixed bottom shelf is raised and level with the lip of the bookcase's kick plate for ergonomic purposes.This bookcase measures 42 x 34-1/2 x 13 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) It has been manufactured to comply with American National Standards Institute/Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (ANSI/BIFMA) standards for shelves. This bookcase has a 200 lb. per shelf load capacity when the weight is evenly distributed across the shelf. Assembly is required, instructions and hardware are included.
