About Sartorius Quintix6100-1S Toploading Balance 6100g X
The Sartorius Corporation Quintix6100-1S Quintix Toploading Balance has a capacity of 6,100g, a readability of 1,000mg (1.0g), a 180mm diameter weighing pan, a color touchscreen, and 11 built-in applications for advanced lab weighing tasks. The touchscreen features icons and text prompts for intuitive operation. This balance has a mini-USB port for connecting a computer or lab printer (sold separately) for data transfer and output. The port allows direct data transfer to Microsoft applications, and automatically detects the connection of a Sartorius YDP30 or YDP40 printer. Direct data transfer requires a computer with a Microsoft Windows 7, Vista, XP, or 2000 operating system. To help ensure accuracy, the balance features a fully automatic internal temperature- and time-controlled calibration function (isoCAL), and records data for each calibration. The balance can also be calibrated using external weights. A security ring and a fastening point for a Kensington key lock (sold separately) can be used to deter theft. A weighing port allows underfloor weighing of oversize containers. Leveling is performed by manually adjusting the feet until the air bubble is properly centered in the level indicator. The balance comes with a universal power supply and 120V line cord. A precision toploading balance is used in laboratories and other indoor settings for determining the mass of a liquid, paste, powder, or solid sample.
